Snacks (cake & granola bars) & bottles of water are provided for the surface interval for the two tank dives. At the end of each day we just had to take our personal stuff off the boat. If you hire kit from them, they load it on to the boat in the morning & take it off after the dives & wash it. They generally provide shortie wetsuits but I get cold so they gave me a full wetsuit to wear over the shortie so that I was comfortable in the water. We have some dive equipment but we have to hire wetsuits, BCDs & fins. This year there was quite a mix of qualification & ability levels & they did a good job of making sure everyone got a dive that was appropriate.
Reefs, wrecks & marine life of all kinds. We were there for 2 weeks & did 18 dives – from the warm, shallow waters of Carlisle Bay to the depths of the Stavronikita wreck. Secondly, the diving in Barbados is excellent & they do their best to provide a good variety of dives so that you get to see as much as possible. So why do we keep going back? First & foremost because they are good, safe divers & they don’t take risks with their customer’s lives. This was our 5th diving holiday with them & we enjoyed every moment. They work hard to make sure everyone has a really good experience. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Firstly a huge thank you to everyone at West Side Scuba for providing us with yet another brilliant diving holiday.
